REQ, an Agital company after its acquisition in July 2023, today announced it has named Elizabeth Shea as president of REQ. Elizabeth came to REQ through the 2019 acquisition of SpeakerBox Communications, the firm she founded and ran for more than 20 years. Well known in the DC technology and business community, she earned many accolades for her growing business, including as a Washington Business Journal Women Who Mean Business and a Washingtonian Tech Titan. Elizabeth will lead the REQ team through its next phase of growth and an eventual rebrand to Agital in 2024.
“The opportunity to grow REQ, and thus Agital, is a role I accept with great pride and excitement as the world of digital marketing and strategic communications evolves,” said Elizabeth. “The acquisition by Agital marked a pivotal point in the company’s trajectory, and we applaud Agital’s focus on building a world-class marketing organization with REQ as a tentpole partner. I strongly believe in the future success of the company and am honored to lead such an experienced team.”
REQ offers a full suite of marketing services, including digital marketing, branding, and advocacy work alongside strategic communications. Now, as part of Agital, an agency delivering high-impact business results to marketers and business leaders, REQ continues to deliver against this promise.
“When we acquired REQ, we saw an opportunity to work with some of the biggest and best brands in the world,” added Jeff Reynolds, CEO of Agital. “Elizabeth’s leadership in growing her line of business as well as providing strategic direction for REQ makes her the natural successor for this role. She will also contribute in a greater role as a member of Agital’s leadership team.”
Agital is a rapidly growing, full-service marketing agency with a mission to disrupt the status quo in how marketing and communication services are delivered. By uniting agile strategies and innovative technology, Agital offers an unprecedented ability to deliver high-impact results for its clients.
