New assessment program offers qualifying brands free market intelligence, while 500 selected businesses will receive a $10,000-funded marketability test with real U.S. consumers
ZyG, an operating system designed to help eCommerce businesses scale, has launched ZyG Score, a program intended to identify consumer brands with the potential to reach hundreds of millions of dollars in annual online sales.
The initiative combines market analysis, real-world consumer testing and end-to-end growth support. eCommerce brands generating more than $1 million in annual online sales can receive a free ZyGnal, the company’s proprietary assessment of a brand’s market opportunity. Of the brands assessed, 500 with the strongest potential will be selected for a Marketability Test funded by ZyG with $10,000 in media spending per brand.
The program is designed to help businesses assess their growth prospects before committing significant resources to expansion.
The first stage, ZyGnal, uses a network of AI agents to analyze a brand’s competitive environment. The assessment examines competitors’ websites, advertising, reviews, social engagement, pricing and traffic, combining these signals with paid datasets and ZyG’s proprietary benchmarks.
The resulting analysis aims to identify a brand’s competitive position, potential market opportunities and areas where it could differentiate itself.
ZyG is making ZyGnal available at no cost to qualifying eCommerce businesses, regardless of whether they ultimately become partners.
“We’re on a quest to find the brands that can truly break the internet,” said Omer Kaplan, CEO and co-founder of ZyG. He said the assessment is intended to provide brands with insights into their markets and competition, while identifying businesses that could benefit from further testing and investment.
Brands with the strongest ZyGnal assessments can advance to the second stage: a Marketability Test.
During the test, ZyG develops the positioning, messaging, creative assets, offers and storefront needed to evaluate a brand’s appeal. The campaign then runs with U.S. consumers for approximately one week, with ZyG investing $10,000 in media spending for each of the 500 selected brands.
The company measures acquisition costs, conversion rates, engagement and other performance indicators against its benchmarks and predictive models. These results are intended to help estimate future performance, including potential customer lifetime value (LTV).
The ZyGnal assessment and Marketability Test together determine the final ZyG Score, which identifies brands considered to have stronger potential for expansion.
Brands that achieve a strong ZyG Score may be invited to become ZyG Scale Partners. For selected businesses, ZyG offers a broader operating model that covers digital execution across customer acquisition, creative development, conversion optimization, retention, organic growth, customer support and logistics.
The company said its approach connects data, predictive models and AI agents within a unified system, with the aim of managing the operational complexity of scaling an eCommerce business rather than simply providing additional tools and dashboards.
Kaplan said the company aims to help selected brands scale their online sales significantly over two to three years, although actual results will depend on each business and market.
Access to growth capital remains a challenge for eCommerce businesses seeking to expand advertising and customer acquisition. ZyG said it can finance customer acquisition for its Scale Partners using predictive lifetime-value and return models.
The approach is intended to help selected brands increase marketing investment without having to fund every additional advertising dollar themselves.
ZyG Score therefore creates a progression from market assessment and consumer validation to potential operational and financial support. The company’s objective is to identify promising consumer brands, test their potential with real buyers and provide selected businesses with the resources needed to pursue growth.
