TILT Story has announced a merger with LionShare, Inc., a Kansas City-based healthcare CRM and data-driven marketing automation company. Following the merger, LionShare will continue operating under its existing name and with its current team.
Sara Dykes, President of LionShare, will continue leading the company’s day-to-day operations and maintaining relationships with its clients.
The merger brings together LionShare’s proprietary CRM platform, healthcare-focused CRM expertise, and data-driven marketing automation capabilities with TILT Story’s healthcare brand strategy, creative, and content services.
The companies say the combination is intended to provide healthcare organizations with a broader range of marketing capabilities, connecting data, analytics, CRM, creative, content, and brand strategy within a unified offering.
The companies identified measurable return on investment (ROI) as an important area of focus for healthcare marketing.
TILT Story said discussions with clients highlighted the need to connect traditional agency services with data-driven CRM, marketing automation, and analytics. The combined organization will focus on using marketing data to measure results and inform future growth strategies.
LionShare brings decades of experience working exclusively within the healthcare sector, along with its proprietary CRM technology and data capabilities.
TILT Story contributes its expertise in creative development, healthcare brand strategy, and content. By bringing these capabilities together, the companies aim to help clients connect marketing creativity with measurable customer and business outcomes.
TILT Story and LionShare plan to jointly invest in new capabilities following the merger.
This includes continued development of LionShare’s existing CRM platform as well as the introduction of new technology and innovative marketing capabilities designed to support healthcare clients.
LionShare founder Laura Lee Jones will transition into the role of Founder and Executive Advisor and will also join the company’s board.
Jones founded LionShare more than three decades ago and built the company into a healthcare CRM and marketing automation business. She said she will remain involved with the organization while Sara Dykes and the LionShare team lead the company’s next phase.
With Dykes remaining as President, LionShare’s team and client relationships will continue without interruption.
The leadership structure is intended to preserve the company’s existing culture and healthcare expertise while giving LionShare access to the additional resources and reach provided through TILT Story.
Joanne Thornton, CEO of TILT Story, said the company is focused on building a platform where marketing performance and measurable ROI are central to the work delivered to clients.
According to Thornton, LionShare’s reputation in healthcare CRM and marketing automation, its overlapping client base, and its capabilities made the company a strong fit for TILT Story’s broader strategy.
The merger expands TILT Story’s healthcare marketing capabilities by combining creative and brand services with CRM, marketing automation, data, and analytics.
The companies will work together to develop additional solutions while continuing to support existing clients and maintain the healthcare-specific expertise that both organizations bring to the combined platform.
