yellowHEAD, a performance marketing agency, has introduced Mona, a proprietary creative production system designed to generate native-style video advertisements at scale for client campaigns.
Rather than operating as an independent AI product, Mona is integrated into yellowHEAD's creative workflow and remains guided by the agency's creative and user-acquisition specialists. The approach combines AI-assisted production with human strategy and review to help brands produce more advertising variations for testing without significantly increasing production demands.
For performance marketing teams, continuously developing new creative concepts can be a major challenge. Producing enough variations of hooks, formats, and messaging for meaningful testing can take weeks, while platforms such as Meta and TikTok increasingly reward advertisers that consistently introduce fresh creative.
Mona is designed to accelerate this process by combining automated production capabilities with creative direction from yellowHEAD's specialists.
The company says the system can provide a larger number of testable variations, allowing marketing teams to identify promising concepts and develop them further.
Each Mona concept begins with direction from yellowHEAD strategists. The agency draws on experience working with more than 600 brands and approximately a decade of paid user-acquisition campaigns.
Depending on the campaign, Mona can produce:
10 to 30 completed videos per month
4 to 12 original hook concepts per creative brief
Three paid-social formats for each video
Delivery in approximately seven days
For each assignment, yellowHEAD selects the AI model most appropriate for the specific production task and develops prompts tailored to the relevant brand, title, or application.
Human strategists then review the concepts before the creative is delivered to clients.
A key objective behind Mona is to avoid producing advertisements that have an obvious generic AI appearance.
Creative concepts are developed from established performance patterns and transformed into variations intended to feel natural within social-media feeds. The goal is to make the advertising resemble the type of content users already encounter on platforms such as Meta and TikTok.
yellowHEAD says examples of the resulting creative are available through its creative portfolio.
Mona is not intended to replace yellowHEAD's broader creative production operation.
The agency plans to use the system primarily for high-volume hook and concept testing, while its full-service creative studio continues to handle premium productions and longer-form projects.
This division allows the agency to use AI-assisted production where speed and creative volume are important while retaining human-led production for projects requiring more extensive creative development.
According to Koren Waise, Head of yellowHEAD's Creative Department, Mona was developed to help clients reproduce successful creative approaches more quickly and reduce the uncertainty involved in developing new advertising concepts.
Waise said the system focuses on identifying the elements that contribute to advertising performance and adapting them into social-native creative, while incorporating audience interests and insights from algorithmic content categories.
With Mona, yellowHEAD is expanding its performance creative offering by combining AI-powered production with human creative oversight, giving brands a faster way to develop and test multiple video concepts across paid-social campaigns.
