New connector enables teams to build pages, manage content, analyze performance, and optimize websites through Gemini while retaining existing permissions and governance controls
Webflow, an agentic marketing platform, has announced an expanded partnership with Google, bringing Webflow into the Google Gemini app as a connected application. The integration enables teams to use AI agents to build, manage, and continuously improve digital experiences without leaving their existing Gemini workflows.
Selected by Google for Gemini’s connector marketplace, Webflow connects through its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. The integration provides access to core Webflow capabilities already available through Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, and Slack, allowing Gemini users to work with website content, performance data, page creation, and optimization tools.
The connector supports a range of tasks across website management and digital marketing. Teams can use Gemini to analyze traffic, identify top-performing pages, review engagement and goals, and track performance changes over time through Webflow Analyze.
For experimentation and optimization, users can ask which Webflow Optimize variations are performing best and whether tests have reached statistical significance. AEO Analytics also enables teams to examine how AI systems discover, crawl, describe, and cite their brands.
The integration extends to website creation and maintenance. Teams can generate responsive pages and components using existing design systems, add interactive behaviors, and manage content collections, including custom and reference fields. Users can also deploy Webflow Cloud applications, check deployment status, troubleshoot issues, and audit websites for SEO, accessibility, broken links, performance, and content quality.
Webflow said the integration preserves enterprise governance standards, including existing user roles, permissions, and AI attribution in activity logs. These controls are intended to help organizations use AI-assisted workflows while maintaining oversight of website changes and brand consistency.
Ben Haefele, chief product officer at Webflow, said the integration allows more team members to use AI agents for page creation, content management, and audience analysis through tools they already use. He added that combining Gemini with Webflow is designed to help marketing teams improve outcomes while retaining established brand standards and organizational controls.
Webflow’s connected app for Google Gemini is available starting today and is free to install. According to the company, the connector does not currently consume Webflow AI credits, although access to individual capabilities depends on customers’ existing Webflow plans and permissions.
The integration gives teams using Gemini a way to manage website operations, understand performance, and improve digital experiences without adopting another AI tool or switching between applications.
