Company recognized for Business Contribution and People Development, highlighting its focus on client value, operational transformation, and workforce development
transcosmos has received two awards at the Best Contact Center Indonesia (TBCCI) 2026, organized by the Indonesia Contact Center Association (ICCA). Announced on September 24, 2026, the recognition includes Gold in the Business Contribution category and Silver in the People Development category.
TBCCI recognizes companies and individuals demonstrating excellence in the contact center industry through innovation, operational quality, business contribution, and human resource development. transcosmos previously received Platinum in Contact Center Operations and Silver in Employee Engagement at the 2024 awards.
The latest recognition highlights the company's efforts to create measurable value for clients while developing the workforce capabilities needed to support sustainable business growth in Indonesia.
In the Business Contribution category, transcosmos presented its transformation work with one of Indonesia's largest automotive manufacturers, demonstrating how contact centers can evolve from service operations into strategic business partners.
Through technology adoption and process optimization, the company helped the client improve operational efficiency and increase revenue.
The case study demonstrated how integrating customer experience, operational performance, and business requirements within a connected service ecosystem can expand the role of contact centers and contribute to broader organizational objectives.
The Silver award in the People Development category recognized transcosmos's approach to developing employees in response to changing business and operational requirements.
The company's program extends beyond conventional training, incorporating employee preparation, competency development, managerial skills, and structured career pathways toward leadership positions.
According to transcosmos, the initiative contributed to a significant increase in internal promotions. The proportion of employees promoted internally more than doubled, rising from 20% in 2024 to 49% in 2025.
This approach reflects the company's focus on building leadership capabilities from within and creating opportunities for employees to advance as business requirements evolve.
Andi Anugrah, Chairman of ICCA, said transcosmos demonstrated how contact centers can contribute beyond their traditional service responsibilities. He highlighted the company's ability to connect operational capabilities with broader business requirements and its emphasis on developing internal talent to support sustainable growth.
Ardi Sudarto, Vice President Director of transcosmos Indonesia, said the recognition reflects the changing role of contact centers as contributors to business strategy rather than purely operational functions.
He added that sustainable transformation depends on employees having the right competencies, adaptability, and opportunities for professional development.
transcosmos began operations in Indonesia in 2013 and provides digital business services, customer experience (CX), and business process outsourcing (BPO).
The company employs more than 4,000 people across Jakarta, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Bali, serving clients in industries including e-commerce, retail, telecommunications, banking, and insurance.
Its service portfolio includes contact center operations, digital marketing, e-commerce support, data entry, IT support, and other business process solutions, supported by integrated CX technology.
The latest TBCCI recognition reinforces transcosmos's focus on combining operational transformation with workforce development as it continues supporting businesses across Indonesia.
