Fifteen founding data providers make market, company, business, legal and research information accessible to AI agent developers

TinyFish, an infrastructure platform designed to help AI agents access information across the open and closed web, has announced the launch of the Data Partners Alliance, a new initiative connecting developers with licensed data sources that AI agents cannot access through web crawling alone.

The alliance begins with 15 founding partners covering a broad range of specialized information. Participants include market data providers Alpha Vantage and Databento; company and market intelligence providers Crunchbase, Intellizence, Similarweb and Tracxn; business identity, people and consumer data companies Baselayer, Enigma, Faraday, Fiber AI and RocketReach; and public records, research and specialized content providers OpenAlex, Trellis Law, Particle and Jinko.

Extending AI Agents Beyond the Open Web

TinyFish already provides access to the open web through its Search, Fetch, Browser and Agent APIs, which are designed to handle dynamic webpages, websites with anti-automation measures and multi-step web tasks.

The Data Partners Alliance is intended to address another part of the information landscape: data that sits behind licensing agreements and cannot simply be gathered through conventional web crawling.

This includes areas such as financial market data, private-company information, business identity records, court documents, professional contact information and academic research.

TinyFish says access to these datasets can be important for AI agents performing research, monitoring, enrichment and due diligence, particularly in situations where accurate, verified information is required rather than an answer reconstructed from scattered online sources.

According to Imperva’s 2026 Bad Bot Report, automated traffic surpassed human traffic in 2024 and accounted for 53% of all web traffic in 2025. TinyFish says its infrastructure currently handles more than 40 million web operations each month for AI agents.

“The next generation of software runs on agents, and agents run on data,” said Homer Wang, Head of Product at TinyFish, who leads the program. “We designed the Data Partner Alliance so the best source in every category is within reach of any agent, with the source credited every time. It starts with fifteen partners who lead their categories, and it grows from here.”

Connecting Agents With Verified Data

The alliance is designed to help developers connect their AI agents directly with specialized data providers, giving those systems access to information that may otherwise be difficult to obtain or verify.

Nicole Dunn, GM of Agentic Economy at Baselayer, said access to verified business identity and risk information can help reduce issues caused by outdated or conflicting data.

“Joining this Data Partners Alliance means the teams building agents on TinyFish can access verified business identity and risk intelligence, making AI outputs easier to trust,” Dunn said.

Kegan Kinser, Head of Partnerships at Crunchbase, said private-company information is becoming increasingly important as businesses use AI agents for market research and customer discovery.

“Data Partners Alliance puts Crunchbase’s predictive intelligence in front of the builders creating those agents – exactly where the next generation of research starts,” Kinser said.

Ajay Krishna, Chief Strategy Officer at Enigma, highlighted the importance of connecting business records with the broader relationships surrounding each organization.

According to Krishna, Enigma can provide verified business entity information along with linked details covering owners, officers, locations, legal entities and affiliated organizations, allowing agents to work with more complete business context.

A Curated Partner Network

The Data Partners Alliance is designed as a curated network rather than an open marketplace.

Developers can discover participating providers through the TinyFish partners page and establish relationships directly with individual data companies. Accounts, commercial terms and customer relationships remain between the developer and the respective data provider.

TinyFish says the launch represents the first stage of a broader initiative. The company is working with its founding partners to bring their datasets more directly into AI agent workflows in the coming months.

The goal is to allow agents to retrieve relevant records, filings, market information and other specialized data within their workflows while maintaining attribution to the original source.

The founding members of the Data Partners Alliance are Alpha Vantage, Baselayer, Crunchbase, Databento, Enigma, Faraday, Fiber AI, Intellizence, Jinko, OpenAlex, Particle, RocketReach, Similarweb, Tracxn and Trellis Law.

TinyFish plans to expand the alliance across additional data categories as demand for agent-accessible information continues to grow.
