Kansas City-based LionShare will retain its name and team, with President Sara Dykes continuing to lead operations

TILT Story has announced a merger with LionShare, a Kansas City-based healthcare CRM and data-driven marketing automation company, in a move that expands TILT Story’s capabilities across customer data, analytics, CRM, and marketing services.

LionShare will continue operating under its existing name with its current team. President Sara Dykes will remain responsible for day-to-day operations and client relationships following the merger.

Combining Healthcare CRM and Creative Services

The merger brings together LionShare’s proprietary CRM platform, healthcare-specific customer relationship management expertise, and data-driven marketing automation capabilities with TILT Story’s brand strategy, creative, and content services.

The companies said the combination is intended to address a longstanding challenge in healthcare marketing: connecting marketing activity with measurable business outcomes and using those insights to inform future campaigns.

By bringing data and creative capabilities together, the companies aim to provide healthcare organizations with a more connected approach to marketing strategy, execution, measurement, and optimization.

Expanding Data and Marketing Automation Capabilities

LionShare brings decades of healthcare-focused CRM experience and a platform designed to support data-driven marketing programs.

TILT Story said its discussions with clients highlighted growing demand for services that combine traditional agency capabilities with CRM, marketing automation, and data analytics.

The two companies plan to jointly invest in expanding LionShare’s existing CRM platform and developing additional capabilities for healthcare marketing clients.

Leadership Transition at LionShare

LionShare founder Laura Lee Jones, who established the company more than 30 years ago, will transition into the role of Founder and Executive Advisor and join the company's board.

Sara Dykes, who currently serves as LionShare’s President, will continue leading the company’s team and client relationships. The companies said the transition is intended to maintain continuity for employees and clients.

Jones said the merger will provide LionShare with additional resources and reach while allowing the company to maintain its culture and focus on its existing client relationships.

Focus on Measurable Healthcare Marketing

For TILT Story, the merger supports its broader strategy of building a healthcare marketing platform centered on measurable return on investment.

TILT Story CEO Joanne Thornton said LionShare’s healthcare CRM and marketing automation capabilities complement the agency’s existing services and provide an opportunity to connect creative and brand strategy with measurable customer and business data.

The combined organization will continue developing capabilities designed to help healthcare marketers connect customer insights, campaign activity, and measurable outcomes within a more integrated marketing environment.
