Stravito has launched a new Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server designed to make companies’ proprietary market and consumer research accessible through the AI tools their teams already use.
The customer intelligence platform says the new capability allows organizations to connect their internal research with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, and custom-built enterprise AI agents through a single, governed connection.
The launch addresses a common challenge for businesses: valuable consumer research often remains isolated in reports and databases rather than reaching employees when important commercial decisions are being made.
According to Stravito, conventional AI tools can also struggle to interpret research documents correctly. Important insights may be contained in charts, graphs, images, presentations, videos, audio files, or spreadsheets rather than simple text. Without access to that broader context, AI-generated responses may miss important findings or rely on information from external sources.
Stravito’s MCP Server is designed to provide AI systems with access to a company’s wider research library, including both textual and visual information. This can help marketing and brand teams bring consumer evidence directly into their existing workflows when developing campaigns, products, launches, and business strategies.
The company’s founder and CEO, Thor Olof Philogène, said the value of research depends on whether it ultimately influences business decisions. He said the MCP Server is intended to make trusted company knowledge available within the AI environments employees already use.
Stravito says responses generated through its MCP Server follow a “Glass Box AI” approach. Answers are based on the organization's own research, include source citations, and are tailored according to the permissions of the individual user.
The connection is read-only and inherits the user's existing access controls, helping organizations maintain governance over proprietary information while making it available to approved AI tools.
A global media and information company is among the first organizations testing the technology, using the MCP Server to bring research insights directly into specialized tools used by its teams.
The launch comes as businesses increasingly use open standards such as MCP to connect previously separate software systems. Through these connections, proprietary research stored in Stravito can potentially be considered alongside information from CRM, business intelligence, social listening, and other enterprise platforms within a single AI interaction.
Stravito's core platform will continue to serve as a central environment for managing proprietary research, conducting analysis, and developing AI Personas. The MCP Server extends that information into other connected AI applications.
The company also provides developer-focused APIs covering Search, AI Assistant, Usage, and Audit Logs, giving organizations additional options for accessing and managing their research data.
Stravito plans to introduce additional tools in the coming months aimed at bringing more customer intelligence into the applications employees use and incorporating research more deeply into commercial decision-making.
The MCP Server represents Stravito's broader effort to make proprietary consumer intelligence more accessible, governed, and actionable as businesses increasingly incorporate AI into everyday workflows.
