New integration enables governed campaign creation and personalization before campaigns move into Salesforce for activation

Stensul has announced the beta availability of a new integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next, extending its existing Salesforce capabilities to help enterprise marketing teams create, personalize, approve, and activate campaigns within a governed workflow.

The integration allows marketers and AI agents to use Salesforce audiences and data to develop email campaigns and variants without exposing underlying customer information to campaign creators. Completed campaigns can then be transferred directly into Marketing Cloud Next for orchestration and activation.

Connecting Campaign Creation With Salesforce

The integration is designed to connect content creation more closely with the systems enterprises already use to manage customer data and marketing campaigns.

Marketing teams can assemble campaign content and variations, apply brand and compliance controls, complete approval processes, and move approved campaigns into Salesforce for activation. This creates a workflow that separates customer data access from campaign creation while still enabling personalization.

According to Stensul CEO Manlio Carrelli, the integration is intended to help enterprises translate their investments in Salesforce and AI into greater campaign production capacity while maintaining the controls required for enterprise marketing.

Extending Governance to AI-Assisted Creation

The launch comes as enterprises increasingly use AI agents to generate and personalize marketing content.

Stensul says content created by people and AI agents can pass through the same governance framework, including brand standards, compliance requirements, accessibility checks, permissions, quality assurance, and approval processes.

The approach is designed to allow organizations to increase content production without creating separate governance processes for human-generated and AI-generated campaigns.

Controlled Personalization at Scale

The integration also provides campaign builders and AI agents with access to approved personalization capabilities within a controlled environment.

This allows teams to create multiple campaign variants while maintaining enterprise rules around how content and customer information can be used. The workflow is intended to support higher campaign volumes while keeping personalization within established marketing controls.

Stensul's approach also extends across creation environments, including AI agents and design tools such as Figma, allowing content to move through a common governance framework regardless of where it is initially created.

Beta Availability and Salesforce Activation

The Stensul integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next is currently available in beta to Stensul customers.

General availability is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026, giving enterprise marketing teams a path to combine AI-assisted content creation, controlled personalization, and Salesforce-based campaign orchestration within a connected workflow.
