New integration brings AI-powered storefront audits, personalized merchandising, automated testing and revenue measurement to SHOPLINE merchants ahead of peak shopping season
SHOPLINE and LimeSpot have announced a partnership to bring LimeSpot Growth Agents to SHOPLINE merchants, helping businesses identify storefront issues, develop improvements and measure their impact on revenue.
The AI-powered agents audit merchants’ online storefronts and connected back-office systems to identify opportunities to improve sales performance. They can draft changes covering personalized product recommendations, merchandising, audience segmentation, promotional offers, Google Ads, AI search optimization and product data structured for AI shopping assistants.
Merchants retain control over implementation, reviewing and approving proposed changes before they are published.
As consumers move between social media, mobile websites, physical stores and other shopping channels, merchants face increasing challenges in delivering consistent customer experiences and converting traffic into sales.
SHOPLINE supports online stores, social commerce, livestream selling and physical retail through a unified dashboard and shopper profile. However, attracting visitors does not necessarily translate into higher conversion rates, larger baskets or repeat purchases.
LimeSpot Growth Agents are designed to help merchants identify where sales opportunities are being missed, develop targeted improvements and evaluate their effectiveness.
“Our merchants have never had more ways to reach a shopper, and never had less time to turn that reach into a sale,” said Christopher Yang, Co-President of SHOPLINE. He added that LimeSpot provides merchants with tools to analyze their storefronts, prepare improvements and understand the revenue generated by those changes.
The partnership introduces four main capabilities for SHOPLINE merchants.
Storefront performance audits: The agents examine storefronts across desktop and mobile experiences, identifying potential revenue gaps. These include product pages that lack relevant next steps for shoppers and product information that may not be accessible to AI shopping assistants.
Personalized merchandising and promotions: Merchants can review drafted recommendations, including Frequently Bought Together, Upsell, Popular and You May Like features, along with contextual cross-sells, bundles, discounts and promotional offers. These can be designed for product pages, collections, shopping carts and post-purchase experiences.
The same merchandising logic can also support customer engagement across channels, including website homepages, WhatsApp broadcasts, livestream follow-ups and in-store promotions. Changes are published only after merchant approval.
Revenue measurement: The platform measures results against a holdout group of shoppers who do not see the changes, helping merchants distinguish incremental performance gains from results that might have occurred without the intervention.
Continuous optimization: The agents can design, run and monitor A/B tests, using the results to refine recommendations and improve performance over time.
LimeSpot cited results from merchants using its technology on platforms other than SHOPLINE.
Black Forest Décor recorded 7% incremental revenue, a 10% increase in conversion and a 3% increase in average order value during a six-week controlled A/B test.
GetGlowing Skincare attributed nearly 22% of its store revenue to LimeSpot recommendations in a single month.
These results illustrate the potential impact of personalized recommendations and merchandising optimization, although the companies noted that the figures were not generated by the new SHOPLINE integration.
“Holiday traffic is valuable, but traffic alone is not the goal,” said Aidin Tavakkol, founder of LimeSpot. He emphasized the importance of helping shoppers discover relevant products, identify complementary items and return to stores after the peak shopping season.
LimeSpot Growth Agents are available through the SHOPLINE App Store. Merchants can also participate in the LimeSpot 21-Day Challenge, under which LimeSpot says merchants pay nothing if personalization fails to generate at least 10 times its cost, measured against a holdout group using the merchant’s own traffic.
The companies have also made available a co-branded ebook, 10 Ways to Turn Your Holiday Traffic Into Recurring Revenue, offering guidance on improving conversion rates, average order value and repeat purchases during peak shopping periods.
The partnership combines SHOPLINE’s multichannel commerce infrastructure with LimeSpot’s AI-driven personalization and optimization capabilities, giving merchants a way to identify storefront improvements, test changes and evaluate their contribution to business performance.
