PulsePoint has expanded its Audience Manager platform to Google Search and Microsoft Bing, enabling healthcare marketers to activate and measure verified, NPI-level healthcare professional (HCP) audiences in search environments.
The expansion is designed to help pharmaceutical and healthcare brands reach verified clinicians while coordinating search campaigns with PulsePoint’s broader omnichannel advertising ecosystem.
PulsePoint’s Audience Manager uses its DirectMatch technology to identify and engage verified NPIs across Google Search and Microsoft Bing. This gives marketers greater visibility into the specific healthcare professionals being reached compared with search-platform audiences that may provide less granular audience information.
The capability can be integrated with campaigns across other channels, including social, EHR, display, connected TV, and audio.
According to PulsePoint, more than 94% of HCPs use search engines to research pharmaceutical product information. The company says search is also significantly more influential on treatment decisions than GPT or other AI-based tools.
By bringing NPI-level audience activation to search, PulsePoint aims to connect HCP targeting with the environments where clinicians research treatments, therapies, and clinical information.
Audience Manager also provides Physician-Level Data (PLD) reporting, giving marketers NPI-level visibility into campaign engagement.
Reporting can include details such as:
Keywords
Ad groups
Physician specialties
Engagement timestamps
PulsePoint’s HCP365 measurement capability extends reporting beyond individual search campaigns, allowing marketers to evaluate HCP engagement across search activity and the broader media mix.
The Google Search and Microsoft Bing expansion represents another step in PulsePoint’s broader HCP omnichannel strategy.
The platform is designed to use first-party data to support consistent, NPI-verified engagement across multiple touchpoints, allowing healthcare marketers to connect search activity with subsequent interactions across other advertising channels.
The overall approach shifts HCP search marketing from broad audience targeting toward more granular clinician identification, activation, and measurement.
