New feature enables administrators to configure group-based landing pages in minutes, while users can personalize their own experience

MediaValet, a provider of AI-powered digital asset management (DAM), video content management and creative operations software, has launched Custom Homepage, a configurable landing experience designed to help organizations make content and resources easier to access.

The feature replaces the platform’s default recently uploaded assets view with an administrator-configured homepage that presents relevant content, shortcuts and information when users sign in. Administrators can tailor the experience for different groups without using a dedicated page builder, while individuals can further customize their own views.

Simplifying Homepage Configuration

Custom Homepage uses group-based pinning to help DAM administrators configure landing pages for different teams. For example, marketing teams can access campaign assets, while sales teams can find presentations and other relevant materials.

MediaValet positions the feature as a simpler alternative to drag-and-drop homepage builders, which can require additional configuration time and design skills. Its approach allows administrators to assign relevant categories and resources to user groups in minutes.

Six Widgets for Content Discovery

The new homepage includes six widgets designed to improve navigation and provide users with relevant information:

  • Featured Resources: Highlights important resources for users.

  • My Favorites: Allows individuals to personalize their homepage with frequently used content.

  • Welcome Message: Provides a customized greeting and orientation.

  • Recents: Helps users return to previously accessed content through a “Pick Up Where You Left Off” experience.

  • What’s Happening: Surfaces relevant updates and activity.

  • Useful Links: Connects users to internal tools and external resources beyond the DAM library.

Together, these features are intended to reduce the time users spend navigating the asset library and make the platform a central starting point for content-related tasks.

Supporting Different Team Workflows

Custom Homepage combines organization-wide configuration with individual personalization. Administrators establish the experience for each user group, while users can adjust their own views through the My Favorites widget.

The approach is designed to help both frequent and occasional users find relevant content more quickly, with welcome messages and featured resources providing additional context when they log in.

“Every team logs into MediaValet for a different business purpose,” said Surita Bains, Vice President of Product & Design at MediaValet. “Custom Homepage lets an admin configure the experience once, in minutes, and lets every user make it their own from there.”

The launch expands MediaValet’s efforts to make digital asset management more accessible by tailoring content discovery and navigation to the needs of different teams and individual users.
