Consensus has appointed Sean Murray as its new Chief Revenue Officer, bringing an experienced go-to-market executive to lead the company's revenue organization as it enters its next phase of growth.

Murray most recently served as CEO of Productiv, a SaaS management company. Earlier in his career, he held CRO positions at Greenhouse and Salesloft, where he helped expand their respective revenue operations.

At Greenhouse, Murray helped grow the company's business from approximately $40 million to more than $200 million. At Salesloft, he established the company's enterprise sales operation and helped increase revenue from about $20 million to $60 million.

Murray said he joined Consensus because the software-buying process is increasingly taking place before buyers engage directly with sales teams. He pointed to Consensus' combination of self-guided product exploration, AI-powered conversations, and live demonstrations as a way to capture more of that buyer journey.

The appointment follows a significant year for Consensus, which completed two acquisitions within six months. In April 2026, the company acquired Peel, adding AI-powered conversational demos. Two months later, it acquired Saleo, bringing data-rich live demonstrations capable of incorporating account-specific information into a customer's native product experience.

The acquisitions have expanded Consensus' platform to cover buyer-led, AI-assisted, and seller-led product demonstrations.

The company says its customer base includes approximately 60% of the world's largest software companies, with customers including Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, and HubSpot.

Consensus has also received several industry recognitions during 2026. G2 named the company a leader in its newly introduced Agentic GTM Platforms category, which focuses on platforms using AI agents to coordinate activities across the go-to-market lifecycle. Consensus also holds the top position in G2's Demo Automation category and was included among G2's five leading Sales Software Platforms of 2026.

The company's growth has also been reflected in the 2026 Inc. 5000 rankings. Saleo, which now operates as Consensus Live, was ranked No. 127 among America's fastest-growing private companies based on three-year revenue growth. The company also ranked No. 12 among U.S. software companies and No. 3 among companies headquartered in Georgia.

Consensus CEO Doug Johnson said Murray's experience scaling revenue organizations makes him well suited to lead the company during its current expansion. He described the appointment as an effort to build on the momentum already created by the company's product development and acquisitions.

As CRO, Murray will oversee new business, customer expansion, partnerships, and the broader go-to-market organization. His focus will include turning product-demo activity into what Consensus calls Demo Intelligence—buyer signals that can help revenue teams understand purchasing groups, identify customer priorities, and recognize when opportunities are progressing.

Murray said the changing structure of enterprise buying means revenue teams need to rely less on increasing the number of meetings and more on using product interactions and buyer signals to support the sales process.

The appointment comes as Consensus continues developing its platform around the idea that product demonstrations can serve not only as sales tools but also as sources of intelligence about how prospective customers evaluate and purchase software
