Fall release adds product-level session analysis, campaign performance signals, and AI recommendations to help ecommerce marketers identify revenue opportunities

Acoustic has announced the fall release of Acoustic Connect, expanding its Session Intelligence and Acoustic AI capabilities to give ecommerce marketers more visibility into shopper behavior, campaign performance, and potential barriers to purchase.

The update adds product-level insights to individual customer sessions, new AI-generated recommendations, and additional tools for validating personalization, managing campaign delivery, and tracking changes to audience segments.

Product-Level Insights Reveal Shopping Behavior

The expanded Session Intelligence provides marketers with a consolidated view of customer activity during visits to an ecommerce site.

Marketers can examine sessions from the previous seven days, including on-site searches, repeated product views, and abandoned carts. The platform also surfaces estimated revenue opportunities and behavioral signals that may help explain why a customer ended a session without purchasing.

The additional context is designed to help marketers distinguish between potential purchase friction and declining customer interest.

Acoustic AI can analyze individual sessions using natural-language queries, making behavioral data easier for marketers to interpret and investigate.

“Knowing that a shopper left without buying is only the starting point,” said Alexi Hatch, Chief Marketing Officer at Acoustic. “Marketers need to understand what caught that customer’s attention, what may have stood in the way, and what to do next.”

AI Recommendations Surface Campaign Issues

The release expands Acoustic AI recommendations beyond revenue, deliverability, and cohort targeting.

The system can now identify signals such as:

  • Declining audience engagement
  • Campaigns experiencing week-over-week performance declines
  • Subscriber drop-off within consent groups
  • Data sources that have stopped sending information

Acoustic said all AI-generated recommendations are presented as drafts for marketers to review. No campaign or action is executed without user approval.

New Controls for Campaigns and Personalization

The fall release also introduces several tools designed to improve campaign accuracy and operational control.

Marketers can now preview personalized messages using a snapshot of real contacts from an attached segment before launching a campaign, helping identify personalization errors in advance.

Teams can also stop an active send instance, including scheduled or throttled campaigns that are being delivered over an extended period.

For audience management, marketers can review changes to segment rules and restore earlier versions, providing greater visibility into how segments have been modified.

Connecting Ecommerce and Warehouse Data

The release also builds on Acoustic's integrations with Shopify and Snowflake.

The native Shopify integration brings product catalogs, contact information, consent data, and behavioral information into Acoustic Connect. The Snowflake integration allows marketers to import audience data from their data warehouse and send audience, campaign, message, and signal data back without requiring an engineering ticket.

By connecting ecommerce activity with warehouse data, the integrations are designed to give marketing and data teams a shared view of customer information and engagement signals.

The latest Acoustic Connect release brings behavioral intelligence, AI recommendations, campaign controls, and connected data sources into a broader workflow for analyzing and improving customer engagement.
