Navatar has introduced new capabilities that integrate Anthropic’s Claude AI into the daily workflows of private equity and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) professionals. The update enables users to receive AI-generated recommendations, initiate tasks through Claude, and access the resulting work directly within Navatar’s shared deal and relationship management environment.
The announcement builds on Navatar’s previously introduced bidirectional Salesforce Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectivity. While the earlier integration supported workflows initiated in Claude, the latest capabilities allow professionals to begin their work inside Navatar and use Claude without switching to a separate AI conversation.
The new integration gives Claude a more active role in the workflows managed through Navatar. Rather than functioning solely as a tool for answering questions, Claude can recommend potential next steps while professionals work within the platform.
Users remain in control of how they respond to these recommendations, allowing them to evaluate suggested actions and decide which steps are appropriate.
For private equity and M&A teams, this approach aims to connect AI assistance with ongoing deal origination and execution activities, reducing the need to move between applications to access AI capabilities.
Professionals can now initiate actions directly within Navatar and route them through Claude for processing. Once the work is completed, the results are returned to Navatar as part of the existing workflow.
This integration makes Claude part of the platform’s broader execution process rather than limiting its role to an embedded conversational interface. Users can start tasks in the environment where they manage deals and relationships, leverage Claude’s capabilities, and review the results without leaving that workspace.
Navatar also provides options to verify AI-generated information and selectively apply relevant content to appropriate CRM fields. This ensures that returned information does not automatically become a CRM update without professional review.
The update also focuses on making AI-assisted work more accessible to authorized colleagues.
Activities performed through Claude or Outlook can be associated with the relevant deal or relationship in Navatar. This allows team members to follow developments, understand recent activity, and coordinate subsequent actions without manually checking individual CRM fields.
For partners and senior deal professionals, improved activity visibility can make it easier to understand the progress of ongoing work. Team members can also build on completed tasks instead of repeating research or requesting updates from colleagues.
Navatar's earlier bidirectional Salesforce MCP capabilities enabled professionals working in Claude to retrieve updated information from Navatar and bring selected research and supported actions back into the CRM environment.
The latest release expands this functionality by introducing Navatar as another starting point for AI-assisted work. Claude can now recommend actions within Navatar, process tasks initiated by users, and return the results to the platform.
Together, these capabilities connect workflows across Claude and Navatar while keeping relevant information and activity associated with shared deal and relationship records.
Navatar is also extending its Salesforce MCP connectivity to information stored in supported documents, expanding the context available to Claude beyond structured CRM records.
Professionals can review information generated through Claude, verify its accuracy, select relevant content, and apply it to the appropriate CRM fields. This approach combines broader information access with human oversight over important business records.
With these capabilities, Navatar aims to create a more connected workflow for private equity and M&A teams, bringing together information retrieval, AI-generated recommendations, task execution, and collaboration within the deal management environment.
